The pairing of sweet strawberries with salty-sour vinegar may seem odd, but the sweet notes in balsamic vinegar make this a match made in heaven!
- 16oz Strawberries, hulled and halved
- 2 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/4 Cup Sugar
- 1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper
- In a large bowl combine the strawberries, vinegar and sugar. Stir gently to combine and coat.
- Cover and let sit for 1 hour then sprinkle with pepper and stir once more.
- Serve and enjoy!
