Another alternative pie crust, this one uses ground pecans in addition to flour to give this crust a unique taste and flavor. Try it with a pumpkin or sweet potato pie!
- 1 Cup Flour
- 1/4 Cup Ground Pecans
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 Cup Butter
- 1/4 Cup Cold Water
- In a large bowl combine flour, pecans and salt. Cut in butter with a fork or pastry cutter until mixture resembles small peas.
- Slowly, one tablespoon at a time, add in cold water until dough forms a ball.
- Chill 30 minutes before using.
