Another alternative pie crust, this one uses ground pecans in addition to flour to give this crust a unique taste and flavor. Try it with a pumpkin or sweet potato pie!

Pecan Pie Crust

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 45 minutes


  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1/4 Cup Ground Pecans
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 Cup Butter
  • 1/4 Cup Cold Water


  1. In a large bowl combine flour, pecans and salt. Cut in butter with a fork or pastry cutter until mixture resembles small peas.
  2. Slowly, one tablespoon at a time, add in cold water until dough forms a ball.
  3. Chill 30 minutes before using.
