Jalapeno and Lime Watermelon Salad Recipe

  • 3 Tablespoons Lime Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Lime Zest
  • 2 Cups Watermelon, seedless is best, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 1 Jalapeno, carefully seeded and finely diced
  • 1/4 Cup Basil, thinly sliced
  • 1 Teaspoon Black Sesame Seeds
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Sea Salt


  1. Briskly whisk together the lime juice, lime zest, and olive oil in a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. In a large, shallow dish add the watermelon in a single layer and cover with dressing. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes or until ready to serve.
  3. When ready to serve, divide the watermelon between two bowls and lightly sprinkle with jalapeno, basil, sesame seeds and sea salt. Pour a spoonful or two of the leftover marinade over the top and enjoy!
