This lovely, cool drink is perfect for those hot summer days!
- 1/4 Cup Agave Nectar
- 1/2 Cup Water
- 3/4 Cup Sorrel Leaves, thinly sliced
- 4 Limes, quartered
- 40 oz Seltzer, chilled
- In a small saucepan combine the agave nectar and water in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly, then remove from heat and let cool completely.
- Combine syrup in a blender with the sorrel leaves and combine until smooth, then run through a sieve to collect any solids.
- Squeeze the limes into a large pitcher or bowl, toss in and smash with the back of a wooden spoon, then stir together with the sorrel-agave syrup and seltzer.
- Serve and enjoy!
