Ingredients

  • 1 Package Dry Active Yeast
  • 1 Cup Warm Water
  • 1/4 Cup White Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons Milk
  • 1 Tablespoon Egg Replacer
  • 2 Teaspoons Salt
  • 4 1/2 Cups Bread Flour
  • 1/4 Cup Butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the yeast in the water in a large bowl and let stand for 10 minutes, then stir in the sugar, milk, egg replacer, salt and flour. Knead for 8 minutes on a lightly floured surface then place in a well oiled bowl for an hour; cover with a damp cloth.
  2. Punch dough down and pinch off small handfuls. Roll into balls, place on a tray, cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat grill to high.
  4. Roll dough out into thin circles and grill on a lightly oiled grill for 3 minutes on each side, brushing uncooked side with butter. Repeat until all naan is cooked.
